I am back from my amazing tour of the Disney Magic!
Here are just a few interesting things I learned…
You get the same waitstaff at every restaurant. They get to know what you like and need, and it's seriously awesome service. They'll even cut up food for the kids. Parents, celebrate!
Photos - You need to order the pictures or package while on the ship.
When traveling as a multi-generational family, always reserve the room for the kids first. Ships can run out of spots for children, so book them first to prevent a scenario where the grandparents are reserved, but the parents and kids are not.
There is more signage on the ships than in the parks, and the carpets indicate your location.
The children's club is exceptional, offering accommodations for allergies and special needs. They provide sensory bins and noise-canceling headphones as required.
Currently, Galveston hosts ships until March. An extension to April is anticipated, with hopes for summer ships in Galveston soon.
The Rainforest Room at Senses Spa is not included with treatments. The current rates are $34 per day or $89 for the entire cruise.
